Great, quiet place. This is our third visit - each time was with a class reunion. Cabins are clean, staff is responsive. We will be back. I happened to love the mattress pad on my bed - I called them after I got home and asked if they could tell me the brand- someone from the office went right over to the cabin I had stayed at and came back and told me what it was. They are very nice and helpful in the office. The cabins are older but have been kept up and some remodeling over the years. Again- they are very clean.
The studio was great. Exactly what I needed to ride Spider Mountain. Will stay again!
We stayed in Cabin 19, it had 2 rooms with 2 queen beds in each room and 2 full bathrooms. it also had 2 full sized futon sofa's that pulled out. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. We would wake up, ride up to the lift and then ride all day. We took a break from it around lunch, hung out on the deck, and then went back at. It was very quiet out there and the other folks we met were very nice. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful on where to eat in town and sites to see. We'll def be back.
Old school real deal. We'll maintained and kept. Cabin had everything we needed except extra trash bags and better directions on what to do with the towels, a detail so minor it didn't negate any stars. Location was perfect even if you're not riding Spider Mountain. We loved it and will be back.
Great little cabins. Staff very pleasant to deal with. Reasonable prices. Just wish the A/C blew a little colder. Not their fault, it just can't keep up from the heat during the 100 degree days. I will be returning. And I will recommend to others.
This is a great place! We frequent it, year-round. Nice pool, clean cabins/grounds, friendly staff. Boat ramp, dock, slips on site, and a little playground.
Great customer service. Please book over the phone. You will get better rates. Kitchen not kitchenette, this is my place when returning for work.
Our cabin wasn't huge, but it was clean and the beds were comfy Perfect for a mountain biking weekend. The price for February included lift tickets for a day for two. So, the 3 night stay was cheaper than our previous night stay in San Antonio. Riding was terrific. We will definitely be going back to Spider.
